New DS3 APsystems Installer Training Webinars in February & March

APsystems will be conducting PART 1 of its system installation training on Wedensday, February 9th OR March 16th at 9am PST/12pm EST covering microinverter installation for the new DS3. PART 2 will take place on Thursday, February 10th OR March 17th at 9am PST/12pm EST and cover ECU-R gateway set up and commissioning, and EMA walkthrough. This training is at no cost to installers.

PART 1: DS3 Microinverter Installation
Build a competitive advantage with the world’s most powerful dual microinverter. This training will cover the new DS3 microinverter product line, including the DS3, DS3-L and DS3-S. Attendees will learn the benefits and features of the DS3 series as well as tips and tricks to rapid installation, maximizing reliability and power production while minimizing returns to the job site.

PART 2: ECU-R Gateway Set Up and Commissioning, and EMA Walkthrough
Learn the simple and convenient steps to ECU-R set up and commissioning, with an EMA installer portal walk-through. Installers will learn how to set up their customer’s gateway device to connect to the system and the internet, as well as the online EMA set up of customer accounts, site configuration and troubleshooting.

2021 North America Project of the Year Competition – $500 Award

2021 was a great year for solar! We are excited to once again announce the APsystems Solar Project of the Year competition. We love to see the new and creative ways installers are putting APsystems’ advanced microinverter technology to work in markets across the country.

We look forward to your submissions!

APsystems invites you to nominate your North America projects for the 2021 Solar Project of the Year Awards.

Tell us about your very best project – what set it apart in terms of scale, design, power output, challenging conditions, or your creative application of APsystems microinverter technology.

We’d like you to submit the project details here, including a brief write-up about your best installation, or more – enter all the projects you like. Remember to include some high-res photographs and any close-ups showing our microinverters in action. Your project can be completed or still in process. Entries will be judged by our APsystems team.

We’ll be honoring top North America projects in both Residential and Commercial categories.

And we’ll announce the APsystems Solar Project of the Year Award winners early in the new year through announcements and promotions that will highlight your project and your company. APsystems is committed to helping you grow your solar business even as we grow ours, so this is a cross-promotion opportunity you’ll definitely want to take advantage of.

The winner in each category will receive $500.

Our contest last year generated great interest from installers and brought out some fantastic projects; you can see the winners here.

APsystems Introduces the DS3, the World’s Most Powerful Dual-Module Microinverter series

A new, groundbreaking design for APsystems, the DS3 series is launching with multiple power offerings in several major global markets, with outputs up to 960VA—making it the most powerful dual-module microinverter in the world and reflecting APsystems’ commitment to powerful innovation with global capability.

The new platform architecture, built from the ground up by the power electronics design experts comprising APsystems’ engineering and R&D teams, employs the latest breakthroughs in power inversion circuitry, semiconductor device technology, high-speed communication and intelligent control.

The DS3 series is designed to be paired with virtually any choice of PV module type and size, including 60 and 72-cell modules, 120 and 144 split-cell modules, as well as bi-facial modules. With multiple output ranges available, installers can capably find an optimal DS3 microinverter model to match their choice of PV module type, size and capacity to maximize the power output and increase energy harvest. Attendees will learn the ins and outs of QS1, YC600 and YC1000 microinverters, as well as tips and tricks to streamline their installation. Learn the features and benefits of using APsystems products including installation by a single crew member, reduced overall system cost, faster installation time, fewer SKUs and stocking costs, built-in rapid shutdown compliance, and higher energy harvest over conventional inverters.

PART 2: ECU set up and commissioning, and EMA walkthrough
Our team will take you through the simple and convenient set up of the ECU-R gateway and use of the ECU App. We will then walk you through final step in the EMA web portal and how to navigate those helpful features.
