Install APsystems with a single crew member

Thanks to APsystems’ microinverter compatibility, light weight, reduced installation time and built-in rapid shutdown compliance, APsystems products can be easily installed by a single crew member of your team.
We have all had to make significant adjustments to both our work and personal lives, and this includes keeping a safe and healthy distance from others. This makes working together to installer a solar system on a job site difficult for most platforms–but not all. All APsystems equipment can be installed by a single crew member.

This makes solar installation still possible for installers who have jobs they need to complete. Many conventional systems, such as string inverters, can require the lifting and mounting of an inverter by two or more individuals. With APsystems, a single crew member can put in the entire system without assistance.

APsystems microinverters each weigh just a few pounds, cabling can easily be placed and connections made by a single installer, and the ECU set up can be done in a snap with one crew member and a smartphone.

For more information on how to install APsystems to take advantage of this benefit, we encourage you to attend our upcoming webinars.

See our groundbreaking QS1 4-in-1 microinverter at Solar Power Northeast, Feb. 19 in Boston

The first of its kind, the QS1 is designed to accommodate today’s high output PV panels up to 375W, offering 300W AC output per channel, the highest among microinverters. The QS1 offers up to 3X faster data transmission speed than PLC and a wider MPPT voltage range means a greater energy harvest for homeowners. The unit significantly reduces installation time and costs, taking the place of four conventional microinverters per each QS1 installed while providing independent MPPT for each module.

The QS1 shares common AC trunk cabling with APsystems’ popular dual-module YC600 microinverter, offering flexible mix-and-match compatibility on the same circuit to enhance site design capability and maximize circuit capacity.

The QS1 builds on the successful APsystems line of multi-module microinverters, simplifying installation while reducing installation costs and time on the job site. See the QS1 at booth No. 208.

Contact sales.usa@APsystems.com to set up a meeting during the convention, or just come by the booth and meet the APsystems team.

Solar Power Northeast is designed to serve and advance the PV solar market, by bringing together PV industry leaders, professionals, manufacturers, and service providers to explore business solutions, new technologies, policy initiatives, and other market factors.

APsystems to showcase QS1 and APsmart Rapid Shutdown Device at Intersolar 2020

APsystems will be bringing its microinverters to Intersolar once again, and sharing booth space with its sister business, APsmart. The APsmart team will be showcasing their innovative new Rapid Shutdown Device (RSD) and transmitter.

On display for APsystems will be the YC600, the world’s most advanced dual-module microinverter, Rule 21 certified for California and providing up to 300W per channel. Also on display is the QS1, a four-module, single-phase microinverter for residential applications offering a the highest peak output power at 1200W (300 per channel), 300% faster installation time, YC600 compatibility and up to 3X faster data transmission speeds than conventional microinverters. A wider MPPT voltage range also means a greater energy harvest for homeowners.

The APsmart team will be showing off the RSD System, a SunSpec Alliance-certified [paired] device which maintains constant communication between the RSD and Transmitter, constantly monitoring voltage and current. When proper voltage is not detected the Transmitter stops sending the keep-alive signal to the RSD-S-PLC device, initiating a module-level rapid shutdown sequence.

From the developers at APsystems, APsmart offers state-of-the-art PV module rapid shutdown devices (RSD), ideal for any new or existing string or central inverter system, and meeting U.S. NEC 2017 690.12 Rapid Shutdown requirements. Leveraging APsystems’ proven expertise in module-level power electronics, APsmart solutions are powered by ASIC with internal IP and integrated with TI chips at the system-level application.

Stop by booth #835 at Intersolar in San Diego, CA February 4-6 to see these innovative products and meet the APsystems and APsmart teams.

SPI 2019 Video Showcase

Did you miss APsystems at this year’s SPI? You’re in luck! Solar Power World did the rounds for you. APsystems senior director of marketing Jason Higginson details what was showcased at this SPI 2019 in Salt Lake City.

A great show at SPI 2019!

Thank you for joining APsystems at Solar Power International. Our team thoroughly enjoyed our time and conversations with so many fellow solar professionals.
