Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members and everyday people who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
We remember those we lost, their families and all those forever impacted by that day.

How simple is plug-in solar? Solar Surge put the APsystems EZ1 to the test.
Watch as Joe Ordia connects two solar panels to one EZ1 microinverter, plugs it into a standard 120V outlet and immediately starts producing around 480 watts of power.
That solar energy helps power whatever is drawing electricity in the home at that moment—reducing the amount needed from the grid. Joe also walks through connecting the EZ1 to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for real-time monitoring through the app.

How simple is plug-in solar? Seriously simple.
☀️ Connect one or two solar panels to the APsystems EZ1
🔌 Plug the EZ1 into a standard 120V outlet
📱 Connect through the app to monitor your solar production
The electricity produced flows into your home’s electrical system, helping power whatever is already running—your refrigerator, TV, lights, air conditioner and more. That means your home draws less electricity from the grid while the sun is shining.
No rooftop installation. No separate monitoring device. No subscription. Just a sunny spot, a standard outlet and a simpler way to start producing your own power.
Plug in. Power up. Start saving. It’s seriously EZ.

Project Showcase | Commercial Solar for Bayfield Recreation Center in Bayfield, Wisconsin
💫 A full rooftop solar installation is completed for the Bayfield Recreation Center, a nonprofit community hub. Funded through grants and local support, the system is already cutting the facility’s monthly utility bills by roughly half. At the heart of the design are APsystems QT2-208 microinverters — selected to balance high energy yield with budget requirements.
💡 Built around a complete microinverter system, the project delivers a cost-effective, high-performance solution tailored to the center’s daily operational load. The QT2-208’s distributed architecture simplifies wiring and maximizes long-term reliability across the facility.
❄️ Designed for Wisconsin’s demanding climate, the system features module-level monitoring and strong shade tolerance under heavy snow—ensuring stable, year-round power production while lowering lifetime operating costs.

🎙️Episode 22 featuring Jesse Channel and Hattie Haffner of Southsound Solar is live from RE+!
In this episode, Teddy sits down with Jesse and Hattie to talk about Southsound Solar’s history, their experience serving customers throughout Washington’s South Sound region, and their long-standing relationship with APsystems.
Jesse reflects on nearly 14 years with the company and the many changes he has seen across the solar industry, including the evolution of APsystems technology from some of the earliest inverter generations to today’s microinverters and monitoring platforms.
One of the biggest takeaways from the episode? Building a strong reputation comes down to doing good work and taking care of customers. Jesse and Hattie share how that approach has helped Southsound Solar grow while continuing to serve homeowners across Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Pierce, and Lewis counties.

The plug-in solar map keeps growing—and New Jersey is now on it.
The Garden State Balcony Solar Act is another major step forward for simpler, more accessible solar—especially for renters and households without room for a traditional rooftop system.
But state legislation isn’t the only way to explore plug-in solar.
For areas where sending excess solar energy back to the grid may be restricted, the APsystems EZ1 can be paired with the APmeter zero-export solution. The APmeter monitors household energy use and automatically adjusts EZ1 output to help prevent excess power from being exported to the grid.
That gives more homeowners and renters across the country a practical zero-export option—even in states that haven’t yet passed specific plug-in solar legislation.
Local utility rules, permitting requirements and electrical codes still vary, so customers should verify their local requirements before installation.
Plug-in solar is moving forward—and the EZ1 is ready to help more people take part.

Ecotech Solar is helping power the Timber Creek Community, an 82-home development currently under construction in Bellingham, Washington. Built by local contractor Skeers Construction, each home is designed with future solar expansion in mind and features APsystems DS3 microinverters.
As of December 2025, approximately half of the homes have been completed. On average, each residence includes three APsystems microinverters, providing homeowners with a strong solar foundation that can be easily expanded over time.
"APsystems microinverters helped make this project successful by maximizing energy production and ensuring reliable performance across every panel," said Amy Vergillo of Ecotech Solar. "Their flexible design also simplified installation, helping the project stay on schedule while making future system expansion simple and easy for homeowners."
The project showcases how microinverter technology can help builders and homeowners create flexible, future-ready solar communities. @ecotechsolar
