TPO installs don’t leave room for mistakes, and the last thing you need is a callback that eats your margin.
APsystems microinverters are built to keep crews moving—fewer components, faster installs, and reliability your service team will thank you for.
Install it once and move on to the next job. APsystems, Made to Work.

🎙️ Episode 18 featuring Joseph Resabala of SunStripe is live from RE+!
In this episode, Teddy sits down with Joseph Resabala to talk about the evolving renewable energy landscape, the rapid growth of battery storage, and what it takes to navigate the “solar coaster” of today’s industry.
Joseph shares his journey from residential solar into large-scale commercial and storage projects, along with insights into Sunstripe’s work supporting major battery initiatives, including a massive 700 MW opportunity with Georgia Power. The conversation dives into how utilities are adapting, why speed-to-install is becoming critical, and why so many companies are now pivoting hard into battery storage.
One of the biggest takeaways from the episode? Relationships matter. Joseph explains why long-term partnerships, collaboration, and the ability to pivot quickly are becoming more important than ever as the industry continues to evolve. From residential lessons learned to the future of commercial energy storage, this episode is packed with honest industry perspective from someone who’s been in renewables since 2012.

Getting your DS3 install right starts with the details.
From removing the protective cap on the trunk line to ensuring solid end cap connections, every step matters for performance and reliability in the field.
Quick reminders:
⚡ Always remove the protective cap before plugging in your microinverter
⚡ Avoid bending or kinking trunk lines and DC whips during layout
⚡ Make sure end caps are fully seated and secure
⚡ Plan proper connection points for clean wire management
The DS3 system is built for efficiency, with a 3-wire trunk line and improved whips to help create smoother, more flexible installs.

Oceanvolt Solar & EV Advances Energy Independence on Thetis Island
Oceanvolt Solar & EV is helping power a more resilient future with a 40 kW solar installation at the Thetis Island Community Center in British Columbia—earning recognition as the APsystems Canada Non-Profit Project of the Year.
Designed to offset an estimated 95–100% of the site’s annual energy use, the system supports a vital community hub that serves as a gathering place, resource center, and key support location during local initiatives and emergencies.
To maximize performance in coastal conditions with variable light and shading, Oceanvolt selected APsystems DS3-L microinverters—enabling module-level optimization and consistent energy production across the array.
“The use of APsystems DS3-L microinverters was a key factor in the success of the Thetis Island 40 kW solar project,” said Marcus Downer of Oceanvolt Solar & EV. “Their high efficiency and dual-module design allowed us to maximize production while adapting to the site’s unique conditions.”

The residential solar market is evolving quickly—and recent industry news is a reminder of how important long-term stability really is.
As financing models shift, many installers are rethinking how they balance TPO and loan-based ownership to better serve their customers and protect their business.
At APsystems, we’re focused on supporting our partners with what matters most:
• Simple, efficient installs
• Proven, dependable technology
• Long-term system performance
Whether it’s module-level solutions or emerging categories like plug-in solar, our goal is to help installers stay flexible, competitive, and ready for whatever comes next.
Because at the end of the day, solar should just work.
