In Fair Oaks, Indiana, Ag Technologies, Inc. earned APsystems’ 2024 AgriSolar Project of the Year for a 574.4kW AC installation at Curtis Creek Dairy—an innovative system designed to offset energy use across key farm facilities while using 100% of its solar output onsite. “These inverters have met and exceeded production expectations,” said Mike Straeter, Manager at Ag Technologies. “The ability to monitor wattages, voltages, and system performance in detail is a huge advantage for a farm of this complexity.” The project—dedicated to the late founder James Straeter—leverages APsystems QT2 480V microinverters and Ag Technologies’ Solarcam tracking system to increase output by about 7.5% over traditional fixed-tilt arrays. Citing strong performance and ease of integration, Straeter added, “APsystems delivers where it counts: efficiency, performance, and support. That kind of consistency gives our customers peace of mind.
