APsystems Training Portal:
NOTE: APsystems product and installation training is free, and always offered at no cost to professional solar installers.

APsystems offers an installer certification program for professional installers to learn APsystems best practices. This is required to obtain an EMA installer account and includes attending our microinverter training sessions and ECU/EMA training. DIY or self-installers are not eligible for training—APsystems requires installation by a licensed and certified solar installation professional.

Installers can receive training through any of the following methods:

APsystems live training and online webinar courses are registered to confer NABCEP CE credits and cover proper installation and setup of APsystems microinverters, the APsystems Energy Communication Unit (ECU) and APsystems Energy Monitoring and Analysis (EMA) web portal. Live training sessions are typically 3 hours, equating to 3 credits, and online webinar trainings are typically 1 hour sessions, conferring 1 credit each.

To become a certified APsystems installer, register to attend one of the training events listed above. Contact our Training Department if you have any questions about the installer certification process.

Remember: APsystems does not train or support DIY or self-installers. Homeowners must use a licensed and certified solar installation professional to install APsystems equipment.  See policy here.
